Olga Lizasoáin is a Doctor in Educational Science (Ph D) and she works as Associate Professor in the Department of Education at the University of Navarra (Spain). For over ten years, she has collaborated in the educational care provided to children admitted to the paediatric ward of the Clinica Universitaria of Navarra. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the HOPE Association, to which she has belonged since it was created in 1994, involved also in its foundation. She frequently gives courses and speaks on the subject of Hospital Pedagogy, taking part in a large number of conferences and seminars in the European Union and South America. She is the author of many journal articles and books in the field of psycho educational care for children hospitalized with chronic illness.
