In 2006 teachers from London Hospital Schools, co-hosted the 5th HOPE conference, held at the Institute of Child Health in London.
52 speakers and over 240 delegates from Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand attended.
A full programme of events focussed on the "Every Child Matters" agenda and "Innovations in ICT".
Two evening receptions also took place, one at the House of Commons, sponsored by the Rt. Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind and the other at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, generously subsidised by the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.
This website was created during the conference as a resource for everyone involved in the education of children in hospital.
