British Red Cross. Youth Development Manager South Eastern
I have worked with young people in both the voluntary and statutory sector for the past 20 years. My first role was as a Play bus coordinator with the Children’s society where I worked for six years.
I then went on to nursery management in a variety of settings including St Anne’s college in Oxford. During all of this time I worked as a youth worker in a paid capacity for the youth service and in a voluntary capacity for the Red Cross where I have volunteered for the past 32 Years.
I then was lucky enough to become employed by the Red Cross where I have been for the past eight years.
I have responsibility for all of our work with young people across the South East of England. I am passionate about the Red Cross and the principles it adheres to across the world in 185 different countries.
